Chocolate Protein Slice
Looking for a way to use those left over Easter Eggs..Look no further! This no bake Protein Slice protein slice is a super easy to make, as well as a delicious and nutritious treat.
2 Scoops of Vitimum Original
- 2 Scoops of Almond Meal
- 2 Teaspoons of Coconut Oil
- 1 Scoop of Shredded Coconut
- 8 Pitted Dates
- 2 Scoops of Water or Milk
- 120 grams of Chocolate (1.5 medium chocolate Easter eggs)
Melt the chocolate (either on a water bath or in the microwave).
Mix all the other ingredients in a blender until it forms a wet stick crumb.
Line a tray with baking paper and place the mixture on the base, about 2-3cms thick. Pour on the melted chocolate and place to set in the freezer.
After approx. 30 mins (before the chocolate sets completely, cut into slices. This prevents the bar cracking later, as it will be harder to cut once frozen. If the chocolate has set, just simply heat a knife under hot water before attempting to cut.
Store in the refrigerator in an air tight container. Consume within 1 week.
Per serving, Recipe yields approx. 12 servings.
