Banana Mumma.

This is our favourite smoothie over at Vitimum HQ. Perfect as a breakfast smoothie, and for a busy Mumma on the go. 

4 Ingredients 

1 Scoop of Vitimum Original
1 Banana
1 Spoon of Almond or Peanut butter (or your favourite nut butter)
300 mls of your favourite milk 
Ice - optional
      

Method

Mix items in a blender and enjoy!
      

 

Berry Bowl.

A light but creamy smoothie bowl. Using a non-dairy milk (like Oat, or Soy milk) keeps this dairy free - and delicious! 
      

5 Ingredients 

1 Scoop of Vitimum Original
Half a Banana
2 handfuls of frozen strawberries
1 handful of blueberries
100 mls of your favourite milk 
       

Method

Mix items in a blender, or a hand blender. If using a hand blender, make sure you mix the protein powder in first, so that it doesn't fly everywhere! Once mixed, texture should be like a slightly melted sorbet , or acai bowl.  
Top with fruit, chia seeds, shredded coconut of granola, for a nice little crunch. 

Salted Caramel Smoothie.

This delicious number is high in fibre, protein and deliciousness! Great for any Mamas-to-be on the home stretch - as Dates can influence contribute to cervical ripening.

5 Ingredients 

1 Scoop of Vitimum Original
2-3 pitted Dates
1 banana
1 cup of your favourite Milk (we used Oat)
Pinch of Salt
A few cubes of Ice

Mumma Mocha Chino.

Mix up your Morning (or afternoon) coffee with this protein smoothie. 

4 Ingredients 

1 Scoop of Vitimum Original
2 teaspoons of instant coffee (you can swap for decaf if your expecting) 
1  spoon of chocolate/hazelnut spread (we use Biona Organic
1 cup of your favourite milk (we used oat)
Ice - optional
     

Method

Mix items in a blender and enjoy! Note, excess caffeine can reduce the absorption of vitamins, such as Folic Acid. 
     
       

Mumma-Colada

Add a bit of Tropicana to your day, by enjoying Vitimum's take on the Pina-colada.

8-10 fresh or Frozen pineapple pieces
300 mls of Coconut milk (not from a can)

Tropical Smoothie Bowl.

This smoothie bowl is a delicious and nutritious way to start your day.

4 Ingredients 

1 Scoop of Vitimum Original
2 handfuls of frozen pineapple (10-12 chunks)
Half a banana
100-150 mls of coconut milk  
Ice - optional

Mean Green Machine.

This green smoothie is prefect for those who are having trouble eating enough greens and vegetable. A handful of spinach is always a great addition to smoothies - it adds extra nutrients, without compromising taste!

1 teaspoon of honey
1 cup of coconut milk

Raspberry Smoothie.

This dairy free smoothie is a refreshing treat for a hot day, or post workout snack, and perfect for those avoiding milk. Tip: Adding extra Ice can turn it into a Frappe.

1/2 cup of frozen Raspberries
1/2 banana
1 cup of Cranberry juice 
A few cubes of Ice (add more ice to make it a Frappe)
